Two lifelong hunters set out with a clear mission: to craft 100% American-made decoys that give fellow hunters a real advantage in the field. Driven by a commitment to authenticity and performance, they envisioned ultra-lightweight duck decoys that blend realism with rugged practicality. I partnered closely with them to bring that vision to life—developing a complete brand identity that reflects their passion for the hunt while supporting the functionality of their product.
Guided by their expertise, I also contributed directly to the product design, creating duck, goose, and turkey decoy compositions engineered specifically for coroplast production—ensuring each piece is durable, believable, and built for the demands of the outdoors.

CREATING AN IDENTITY THAT PROPELS THEM FORWARD
The logo needed to do more than look good—it had to function as a clear, durable icon that could be applied directly to the decoys themselves. Simplicity and recognition were essential, but we also wanted to avoid anything that felt overly corporate or generic. The mark had to stand on its own and immediately communicate the heart of the brand: waterfowl.
From early sketches and conversations, two strong concepts emerged. The final direction became an icon that seamlessly blended the letter “P” with the silhouette of a goose’s head—a simple, purposeful mark that captured both identity and intent. This became the foundation of their brand.
